My name is Melissa Moore.  I am excited to say that I have been teaching since 2000.  Springville Elementary is a special place. I am so thankful to be a part of the Springville family.

I am a mom to Savannah and Caroline, and a wife to Jerry.  Our family loves to take trips to Nashville and Orange Beach.  We love spending time outdoors hiking and grilling.  We also love attend sporting events at the University of Alabama.  Our favorites to watch are football, basketball, soccer, hockey, and gymnastics. We live in Springville, and also love to cheer on the Springville Tigers.

Since the first grade, it was my dream to become a teacher. I graduated from the University of Alabama with a degree in Elementary Education. After twenty years, I still love to teach.  It is so exciting to watch children learn new things, and grow both academically and socially.   I look forward to teaching my students this year, and watching the seeds I plant grow.
