Miss Pettit
Hi there! My name is Abbigail Pettit and this is my first year at Margaret Elementary. Previously, I taught 2nd grade ELA and 1st grade. I enjoy watching kids grow, learn and pushing them to reach their fullest potential. Kids are awesome and I’m convinced they help make the world go round.
I graduated from Athens State University in 2016 with my bachelor's degree in Elementary Education. I'm currently attending graduate school at The University of Alabama, pursuing my master's degree in Elementary Education. Roll Tide!
I appreciate the outdoors and what it has to offer. Farming, gardening and animals are a few of my favorite things. I also enjoy organizing, decorating, cooking and baking. I love learning new skills and trying new things. My most prized possessions are my nieces, Presleigh and Ava. They are the loves of my life and we do fun things together. I pray that they learn an abundance of wonderful things from their Aunt Abbi.
I love God, my family and friends. These people anchor my heart and make it full.
