Ms. Tara Tidwell

My philosophy of education is rooted in the belief that "life learning" means fostering a love of learning in others only works when truly being a curious, engaged seeker/learner. Working with my scholars means I can never do enough, know my subject enough, guide enough, foster independence enough…there is always more, more, more! I grow and learn with my students every (EVERY) year, and I have high expectations for my students and myself. In “Self-Reliance” Emerson said, “Nothing is at last sacred but the integrity of our own mind. Absolve you to yourself, and you shall have the suffrage of the world.” I will always look forward and find awe and joy in all that we discover together!

Let's begin,
