My name is Tonya Gargis. I graduated from Athens State University with a Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood and Elementary Education and I received my Master's Degree from UAB. I taught third-grade in Jefferson County for 16 years. This will be my fifth year to teach fourth-grade at Margaret Elementary.

I live in Odenville, with my husband Darrell and our three boys. Our oldest son, Daegan, will be a senior this year at St. Clair County High School. Colton will be in eighth-grade at Springville Middle School and Kason will be in sixth-grade at SMS. In our free time, we enjoy watching our boys play sports. We also enjoy cheering for the Auburn Tigers!
