Hello! 

My name is Hope Tennant. This school year ('23-'24) will be the start of year 21 for me.  I absolutely love coming to school every day, and I love teaching! As a teacher, I strive to continue learning something new every day. I hope that my love for learning will transfer to my students so that they can experience the joy of learning too.  

My husband Rodney and I met on the island of Guam where I was teaching at a private school.  He was stationed there in the U.S. Navy. We have been married for 30 years.  Our daughter, Elisabeth, and her husband, Cole Schmidt, live in Decatur, Alabama, with our precious grandson, Aiden Cole.  

I look forward to working with your children this school year to help them achieve great things academically and personally.  Fifth grade is a big year for setting goals and becoming more responsible.
