I am a Springville alumna, and I graduated SHS in 2012. Go Tigers! After graduating, I attended UAB where I earned both my bachelor's degree in biology and my master's degree in general science secondary education. Go Blazers! I currently teach 8th grade physical science, sponsor Jr. Beta Club, and help with First Priority. 

I am married to my high school sweetheart Lance who teaches math at Leeds High School. We have a daughter named Lilly, and three four-legged children Milo (tabby cat), Remi (golden retriever), and Mushu (bearded dragon). Mushu also doubles as my classroom pet! I am a lover of all animals, coffee, and anything related to Finding Nemo/Dory. :) 

Science was always my favorite subject in school, and my goal is for all of my students to experience the excitement and wonder that science has to offer! I am looking forward to a great school year!
