To: Parents/Guardians of St. Clair County Students
Sports and School Teams will be required to meet and travel together to events held at locations other than their home school.
Team members are not allowed to drive themselves to and from away games/events and are only allowed to utilize the following means of transportation:
1. School System transportation (buses)
2. Parent/Guardian owned transportation (team member riding with own parent/guardian or a team member riding with the parent of another team member (must have permission from parent/guardian to ride with the parent of another team member)
If a parent/guardian should provide transportation, a copy of the driver’s license and insurance card for the automobile that will be used to transport a team member must be on file with the coach/sponsor.
For each away event, the parent/guardian transporting team members are responsible for informing the coach/sponsor of the name of each team member he/she intends to transport to and from an event.
Parents/Guardians are responsible for informing the coach/sponsor of any changes to the information/directives covered by this release.
