We know that this is a stressful time for all, and we know you have lots of questions. We understand your apprehension, and we want to try to keep you informed as much as possible. We appreciate your patience as we have worked through the details of trying to continue instruction for our students. Below is information for the week of April 6 as well answers to some of the questions many of you have raised to your teachers or have among yourselves. We know we haven’t answered everything so please email your child’s teacher or administration, or call the school next week, Monday-Thursday, 9:00am-1:00pm—205-594-5242. We will try to get them answered for you.
Work/Materials Pick-up for Week of April 6: Packets will be available for each students because we understand that printing from home may be difficult for parents even if you have internet access. For the week of April 6 ONLY, parents will pick-up work according to grade level (see schedule below). In this first pick-up, teachers will also include any supplies/materials/belongings left in the classroom. Items will be located in front of the building in bins labeled alphabetically by teacher. Students’ items will be bagged and tagged by name in the bins. If items are not picked on the assigned day, parents may call the school, 205-594-5242, or contact Dr. Glover (Melanie.email@example.com) or Mr. Parker (firstname.lastname@example.org) via email to determine other options. If you have children in multiple grades, you may pick-up all items on one day. You will need to buzz the front, give the other child’s name and teacher name, and someone will bring it to the door and place it outside. For safety reasons, we will not be allowing anyone to come into the building. All items will be placed outside. The work is also available on the school's website. Click For Students then look for Student Work Packets. Click that and the work is listed by grade level.
We will send information regarding next week’s pick-up at a later date. This information is only for this week.
