I grew up in Clay, Alabama and went to Hewitt-Trussville High School.  I then attended Auburn University and graduated with a degree in elementary education.  I taught sixth grade for six years at Hewitt-Trussville Middle School.  During that time I met and married my husband, Ronnie, and received my masters degree from UAB; we also moved to the sweet town of Springville.  Then God blessed us with two precious girls, Beth Ann and Caroline.  I was able to stay at home with them for several years and use my teaching background to serve at school and church.  Now, I am thrilled to be teaching at Springville Elementary!  We love to spend time together as a family playing games, going to the river, worshiping at church, and taking trips.  We have two miniature schnauzers, Fritz and Franz.  I love to cook and to read.
