Loving life and the people in it since 1974, I am a proud wife and mother of four. My husband, Randy, and I have been married for 23 years, and we have four children, Sydney, Gracen, Asa, and Aaron.
I love to be on the go, which is a good thing because our family is always going somewhere! Our family is involved in many different sports, and we enjoy attending and serving at Church of the Highlands. My passion is people!
I enjoy finding a need, and trying to meet it. My favorite book of all time is Redeeming Love, by Francine Rivers, because of the absolute beauty there is in redemption.
I knew I wanted to become a teacher when I was 13. I experienced tragedy and obstacles in my childhood, and I knew at an early age that I wanted to work with teenagers.
I am a life-long learner, and I never want to think I have "arrived". I have too much fun on the journey!
I began my teaching career at Hewitt-Trussville Junior High, where I taught eighth grade language arts and ninth grade English. When I became a mom for the first time, I was fortunate to teach at home for several years.
For ten years, I taught in the private schools, Hilldale Christian School and Gathering Place Christian Academy.
I am extremely excited to be entering my seventh year of teaching here at Springville High School!
