Ms. Riker is a 2000 graduate of Springville High School. She attended the University of Montevallo and received her Bachelor's degree in Biology in 2004. She returned to UM and earned her Master's degree in Secondary Education in 2006.

Ms. Riker is a life-long resident of Springville. She has one son, Caleb.
Experience
Ms. Riker began her teaching career in 2006 at Lincoln High School.
She also taught at Pinson Valley High School before returning to her alma mater in 2008.
She became the student council sponsor in 2014 and the color guard sponsor in 2022.
