Degrees and Certifications:
Graduated from Etowah High School, Attalla, AL in 1983. Attended Gadsden State Community College and then graduated with a BS in Mathematics Education from Jacksonville State University in 1987. Completed a Master of Arts in Mathematics Education from the University of Alabama in 1998. Completed a Master in Educational Administration from the University of Alabama in 2008 and added an Educational Specialist Degree in 2009.

Experience
I taught for one half year at Trion High School in Trion, GA in 1988.
Taught twelve and one half years at Pell City High School from 1988 til 2000 before leaving education for six years for a Management position at a major telecommunications company.
I returned to teaching in 2006 here at Springville High School.
