My name is Dianna Hunter and I am so happy to be at OIS teaching reading this year. I have been teaching for 28 years and I LOVE It!
I am married to Scott Hunter and we have one, grown son. His name is Kaleb. We have an Austrialian Cattle dog named Daisy. We also have a snake named Fred. We live in Springville and we love adventure and doing things outside. I love Jesus, my family, reading, crafting, going to the beach and the lake, and Auburn football.
I attached a copy of the new spelling and vocabulary words to my page. I did not get to the new lists with all of the classes because we spent time reviewing papers from the last story on George Washington.
Our new story is titled Sailing Home; A Story of a Childhood at Sea by Gloria Rand. We will have a spelling test and an open book test on this story next Wednesday, Oct. 6th.
The students have an e-learning day next Friday, Oct. 8th and they are out of school for Fall Break on Monday 11th and Tuesday 12th.
Information will be coming home this week for anyone who would like to schedule a conference next week.
