Hi! My name is Kerri Thornton. This is my second year teaching Kindergarten at Odenville Elementary School. This is my 9th year teaching. I taught mostly first grade for 7 years before taking a 13-year break to raise my 4 children. I have one daughter, Libby (18), who is heading to her first year of college this Fall, and three sons: Boaz (14), Titus (12), and Laz (10), who attend Springville schools and keep us busy with sports year round. My husband, Chip,  is a pastor and our family lives in Springville. I am originally from Georgia and graduated from the University of West Georgia with an Early Childhood Education Degree and West Alabama with a Masters in Education. I’m so excited about beginning my second year at OES and meeting my new kinder babies!!!
