My name is Tanya Richards and I have been teaching since 2002. I spent 19 years at Springville Elementary School, and then had the opportunity to come to OIS. This is my second year team teaching Third grade. I was raised in Odenville, and graduated from SCCHS in 1994. 

I love to travel, camp, hike, read, paint, and shop. I enjoy spending time with my husband and our kiddos. We spend most of our time at the beach or lake.

Math is my favorite subject and The Tale of Despereaux is my favorite book. My goal is to support each child in my class to do his/her best each day. I love to watch their faces as they learn new things.
