Hello! I am Mrs. Swan.  This is my second year at Virtual Prep Academy.  I have taught for three years at McAdory High School.  I teach Biology, Chemistry, Earth and Space Science, Environmental Science, and Physical Science.  I graduated with a Bachelor's of Science in Biology from Judson College. I worked for 13 years as a medical/surgical assistant before going back to school for my Master's in Secondary Education at Grand Canyon University.  I enjoy teaching science and enjoy that there is so much of science that we are still learning.  

I have been married to my husband for 21 years.  We have one son who is adopted.  He just turned 6 years old and is starting First grade.  I also have two dogs.  I enjoy doing things outdoors, reading good books and drawing or painting.  I am really excited about getting to know each of you during this school year.
