Mrs. Cassandra Taylor

Mrs. Taylor is a lifelong St. Clair County resident and graduate of St. Clair County High School. She is happily married for 19 years and has two children who both attend the Moody schools. She and her family are active members of Church of the Highlands. Mrs. Taylor believes that every student has a purpose and it is her objective to help guide each student to reaching their full potential and finding that purpose. She made an active decision to work in St. Clair County to serve the students and community that she was raised.

She started her teaching career teaching World History and Government/Economics at Moody High School. She spent over seven years as an Assistant Principal, then named Principal at Moody Jr. High School in 2010. She has over twenty-two years experience in education. She completed her Bachelor of Arts in History from UAB, her Bachelor of Education from UAB, her Masters degree in Educational Leadership from Alabama, and her Educational Specialist (EdS) in Educational Leadership from UAB.
