Welcome to 2nd Grade!

I absolutely love this age! I can’t wait to see the plans God has for us this year!

This year marks my 17th year as a teacher.  I love my job!  God truly created me to be a teacher!  I started at Ashville Elementary teaching 3rd grade from 2007-2010.  Since then, I have taught 2nd grade and kindergarten at Westbrook Christian School and Odenville Elementary.  I have made a full circle back to AES.  It's great to be a bulldog...again!

I am blessed to have an amazing husband, and we have 4 wonderful children.  Brayden (wife Randi) is my step-son who is a nurse at UAB.  Gracie is a biology major and RA at JSU.  Faith just graduated from AHS and is starting college at Gadsden State.  Eliana is a 2nd grader here at AES.

We live on a farm in Steele and enjoy spending time with family.  We are members at Meadowbrook Baptist Church.  We love God, and try our best to serve Him daily.

My hobbies include Bible study, hiking, nature trails, camp fires, traveling, and spending all the time I can with my family and pets.

FUN FACT - I love animals!  In my adult life, I’ve owned 3 horses, 2 loyal dogs, 7 cats, 8 rabbits, 2 birds, 1 tortoise, 2 salamanders, 12 geckos, 2 frogs, and numerous fish.
