I'm so proud to be a part of Ashville Elementary's fourth grade, teaching math and science!

This will be my 19th year of teaching, but my first one at AES. I love teaching all subjects, but math is my FAVORITE!  There are so many different ways to do different things, which is important since we all think and learn differently. One thing is for sure – we will have fun learning it! I am a National Board Certified teacher (2019), and received my BS and MS at Jacksonville State University.

I live in Southside and have a daughter, Catherine, who is 20 and studies nursing at JSU. We have three cats, three dogs, and a leopard gecko. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with family, reading, and traveling. We love to take cruises and go anywhere with a beach!
