My name is Mrs. Reanna Graves. I am so excited about teaching first grade at Ashville Elementary School. This school year will be my eighth year of teaching. I have previously taught PreK, kindergarten, and 1st grade. I am happy to be able to serve in the community that I grew up in! I graduated from Ashville High School in 2002. In 2005, I received my Associate of Science from Gadsden State Community College. I took a break in college and started a family. In 2013, I decided to finish my degree. In 2016, I received my Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood/Elementary Education from Jacksonville State University. I graduated from Jacksonville State University with a Master of Science in Early Childhood Education in 2021. I recently graduated in August 2023 from the University of West Alabama with an Education Specialist Degree in Early Childhood Education.
My husband and I have been married since 2009. My husband, Marcus, is also an educator. He is the carpentry teacher at ECTC and an Ashville school bus driver. We have two sons, Rhett and Marshall. Rhett is a senior at Ashville High, and Marshall is a 5th grader at Ashville Middle. My family and I attend Flow Church in Ashville. As a family, we love traveling, camping, swimming, and trail riding.
I look forward to getting to know your student and your family!
