Ms. Amy Gomez
I earned my Bachelor of Early Childhood Education and Human Development and Family Studies in 2015 from Auburn University. I have taught kindergarten for three years, and am beginning my third year in teaching pre-kindergarten. I enjoy ballet, yoga, hiking and travel. I am a big fan of Atlanta United Soccer. I have a passion to teach little learners to love learning!
I have taught in several schools in the Auburn City area, as well as Vestavia Hills, Alabama and Notasulga, Alabama. I have taught across several grade levels ranging from preschool to 5th grade in many subjects, including reading, math, and music. I have taken classes to help me better serve learners with dyslexia, and I am very keen to students who are hearing disabled. I have been at home at AES for 6 years.
Pre-K will be learning at home on Monday. October 19 and Wednesday-Friday October 21-23. No school for Pre-K on these days. You will recieve at-home work packets on Friday, October 16 to complete and add to Microsoft Teams.
