St. Clair County Schools Finance Department
Our Finance Department strives to provide sound fiscal management and accountability to support the educational and financial goals of the school system. The Finance Department is committed to providing an atmosphere of teamwork and transparency. Our system continually receives unqualified audit opinions from the Alabama Department of Public Examiners who conduct annual audits of our finances. System-wide financial statements, bank reconcilements and financial reports are presented at monthly Board of Education meetings. The Finance Department provides support and assistance to all departments within the system in order to meet the educational goals of the system.
