I have had the privilge of teaching at Ashville MIddle School since 1999. After teaching 6th grade reading and language arts for for 15 years, I moved to the 5th grade where I currently teach science and social studies.   

I received my B.S. in Elementary Education from Montevallo University in 1989.  I continued my education and in 1997 I obtained my Master's in Elementary Education, also from Montevallo. 

 I have two children, both of whom graduated from Ashville High School.
