Hello! My name is Justine Horton. I have been teaching since 2014. I previously taught third grade in Childersburg and moved back home to teach first grade. After teaching first grade for nine years, I am excited to be back in Third Grade this year!

I grew up in Moody and graduated from Moody High School. Go Blue Devils! I graduated from UAB with my Bachelor's in Early Childhood/Elementary Education in 2014 and received my Masters in Elementary Education from UWA in 2020.

I love teaching and I am very passionate about what I do. My favorite part about teaching is getting to know the students and forming relationships. I believe every child offers something special to my classroom and we work together to make each year great. I am so excited to begin a new adventure with my students this year!
