Mrs. Lowe lives on the lake in Pell City with her husband. She has one 20 year old son that attends the University of Alabama. She also lives with her two dogs, Lucy and Lilly, and Kiity (the cat). Other than teaching, Mrs. Lowe enjoys gardening, being on the lake, watching football and baseball, cooking and spending time with her family.  

Mrs. Lowe has taught for a total of 22 years. She is an AMSTI trainer and serves on the St. Clair County Science Leadership Team. She completed National Board Certification in 2011 and was St. Clair County's teacher of the year for the 2014-2015 school year.

Experience

Mrs. Lowe has been teaching for 21 years. This will be her 14th year at Moody Middle School. Prior to teaching at Moody, she taught at Cahaba Heights in Jefferson County for 4 years before taking off to spend time with her son. She returned to teaching in Greystone in Hoover City in 2002.
