Mr. McNutt graduated from Jacksonville State University in 2004 with a degree in Elementary Education and is finishing his 17th year of teaching, all at Moody Middle School. He also has a Master's Degree in Educaitonal Leadership from UAB (2010), in which he hopes to obtain an assistant principal position in the near future.
Mr. McNutt is originally from Gadsden, but currently resides in the Odenville/Margaret area. He is married to his wife Kristy, who is a lead Pre-K teacher at Margaret Elementary School in St. Clair County. He has three children: Matthew 16 (Inverness, FL), Malachi 10, and Makenzie 3. He also has an 12 year old doggie, Julio. He is a huge Alabama fan, and enjoys spending time with family, watching movies, and attending sporting events.
