Mr. David Etheredge

Grew up on a cattle and chicken farm in Cropwell, AL, just outside of Pell City..... Graduated from Pell City High School..... Former sergeant in the United States Marine Corps, which means I am not scared of these teen-aged children even a little bit..... Father of three children who are all finally grown and out of my house..... Big fan of barbeque, Rocky Road Ice Cream, the aforementioned three children, good guitar music, and my Alabama Crimson Tide..... I am also a Chicago Cubs fan, which helps to keep me humble.

Twenty-plus years of experience in teaching World History, U.S. History, Geography, Civics & Government.

There will be three tests during the nine weeks, scheduled approximately three weeks apart.

The third test will be a Comprehensive Final Exam which will include information from the entire grading period.

In additon to appearing on this website, each Classwork/Homework assignment is listed in an assignments notebook which is located on my desk and is available to all students every day.

There is no reason for a student to "not know" what his or her assignments are and when each assignment is due... Also, students should remember that the Classwork/Homework grades have a much greater impact on grade point averages than do the test grades..... TURNING IN WORK IS CRITICAL TO PASSING THE CLASS!!
