I am Leslie Bice. I work as a special education teacher at Odenville Elementary School. I have 20 years of experience at St. Clair County School System. Most of my career was spent serving students as a Speech and Language Pathologist. I recently made a change to serve in the small group setting where I practice many of my specialty skills in functional communication. I love my school and the OES students! My coworkers are very special too. We teach the children, and they teach us.
When I am not at school, I can be found in the kitchen, the garden or on a walk with my dog. I enjoy cooking, boating, laughing, 70's and Jazz music, football, church, Fantasy football, the ID channel and golf. I enjoy everything in life much more when my family and friends are with me. A few notable people that I admire are Helen Keller, Fred Rogers and Martin Luther King Jr. My mantra is, "work smarter, not harder". My current favorite quote is from a beloved band, Pink Floyd, "All you touch and all you see is all your life will ever be".
