I wish we could all be at school together. Until we meet again, here are some great activities to stay active. You do not have to complete all the activties and worksheets. These are just ideas for you to stay active during this time.
As you know, our plans for HEAL (Healthy Eating Active Living) Day in PE at OIS must change. The HEAL Program would like me to pass along some information. The HEAL program will have a virtual HEAL day on May 1st. In order to participate in the virtual HEAL day, log on to healalabama.org. When the website loads, it will be “healunited.org.” HEAL would like for you to participate by doing the HEAL Dance. You may also make up your own HEAL Dance using the HEAL Song. Once you are on the HEAL website, click on “HEAL at Home.” Then, on the left side of the screen, you can click on “HEAL Dance.” This link will give you a video to follow to learn the HEAL Dance. After you finish practicing the HEAL Dance, you can click on the HEAL Song. You may use the song to make up your own HEAL Dance. You may record the dance if you would like and send it to email@example.com. We will send your video to our HEAL representative to be posted to their HEAL website. This activity is voluntary only. Please remember to stay active during this time. Can’t wait to see you all again!
