Degrees and Certifications:
As a St. Clair County High School graduate, I'm proud to be starting my 21st year teaching English in St. Clair County. I earned a bachelor's degree in education from The University of Alabama in 1999 and a master's degree in counseling from Jacksonville State University in 2006.
Directions for Ms. Ray's Beyond the Classroom Plan
I know this is new and different, but we'll all get through it together, and hopefully, we'll all be much better at using technology for learning after this:)
1. Check your email regularly! I plan to send you a weekly email every Monday outlining the week's assignments. Please respond to this email, if only by pressing the like button, so I'll know you got it.
2. We will have a weekly Skype session on Thursday from 10-11. You can use Skype on a phone, tablet, laptop, or desktop. These are not mandatory, but if you have questions or just need the social outlet, join in! I'll send you an invitation to join the Skype session through your school email account each Wednesday. You join the meeting by clicking the link in the email.
3. As you finish work, you can submit it via Teams or you can email it to me at firstname.lastname@example.org.
4. I'm checking my email multiple times per day, so if you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact me. Also, you can message me through Remind any time. If you aren't in my Remind class for English 10 and would like to join, text @4bfa88 to 81010 or enter the @ code into the Remind app.
