Welcome to Odenville Elementary School
Welcome To Odenville Elementary School! We are so glad to have you in our school!
January is Board Appreciation Month. We love our Board! Thank you for all you do!
January 18-22 Learning Information/Stage 1
This is a reminder that there is No School, Monday, January 18.
All students in SCC and at OES will return to Stage 1, Traditional School setting of learning beginning, Tuesday, January 19th.
Please be sure that your child returns the Tech Agreement AND the Device so classrooms can begin utilizing technology in the classrooms for instructional purposes. The Tech Agreement MUST be signed and returned before a device will be given to your child. If your child returns the device for learning Tuesday, an incentive will be given to our students for complying so the Technology 1:1 Classroom Initiative can begin at OES! Again, we appreciate this innovative opportunity for learning so remind your child to take extra care of these devices at school and home!
Please be sure Report Cards have been signed and returned. We will be celebrating and have engaging learning opportunities with Frozen Day, Friday, January 22nd and the 100th Day of School, Friday, January 29th! We will share a newsletter with you this week with more information regarding 2021 at OES!
It is just halftime of the game of learning! This IS the most important time of the year as we huddle up, regroup and refocus on the third and fourth quarters and work towards mastery of grade level standards and skills. We hope you all stay safe, well and free from sickness. Thank you for believing in our teachers and staff and for your support of OES. We CANNOT wait to see ALL of our OES family Tuesday, January 19th!
For current information click on the back to school icon ! You will find information about guidelines, free and reduced lunch, registration, after school care statement, and much more!
The time is here ! First Class Pre K Pre Registration has opened today! SCCS are accepting online pre registration applications from January 15-March 11th. Your child must be 4 years of age on or before September 1, 2021. More information shared in the flyer attached. #oes
The more your child reads at school and at home, the better they become and the better their test scores become. Please see the attached information about how to build a stronger reading foundation for your child at home as we try to build our home to school connection with families. Just click to open and read!
OES is a Title I school qualifying as a percentage of our students recieved free and reduced lunch meals. This allows our school to receive federal dollars. Along with federal, state and local funds, our school is able to operate and upgrade the instructinal teaching of our school.
THis year with our Federal Budget, we are able to fund 2 classroom teachers.
OES has achieved a rank of more than 40% free and reduced lunch status making us eligible to recieve funds.
So please take the time to fill out the free and reduced lunch form as your child's status could improve our funding!
