2021-2022 REGISTRATION INFORMATION:
Welcome to our school! We are glad that you are here. We want to make the enrollment process as easy for you as possible and hope the following information will help guide you. If you have any questions or concerns or need assistance obtaining documentation, please do not hesitate to ask us.All new and returning students must complete online registration.New students will also need to call and make an appointment to come to the school to turn in all necessary documents and complete paperwork. We ask that new Kindergarten students come with the parent so that we can complete a screener before your student is assigned a teacher.Snapcodes were emailed this past week for returning students so that you can now complete the online portion.Everyone must have the following documents in order to complete registration:*Copy of lease or mortgage agreement +*2 Proofs of Residence (examples—but not limited to):
These documents can be uploaded during the online registration process, or you can drop them off at the school during our summer office hours.Important: Teacher letters can only be mailed to students who have completed online registration. If you need to confirm the school that you are zoned for, you can click here and find your address.
Once you register online, please fill out the Free/Reduced Lunch Application. Even if you are unsure if you will qualify- go ahead and complete the form. Filling out this application will help your school receive an accurate classification and may even increase funding while also helping your family out by granting your student either free or reduced meal prices. A new Free/Reduced Meal Application MUST be completed each school year to determine if your child is eligible for benefits. Complete your 2021-2022 Application ONLINE today! August 2-Prek 6:00
August 3: Kindergarten 6:00 Parents only
August 5: 1st and 2nd 5:00-7:00
August 9-Kindergarten 3:00-4:00 Meet the teacher with students
FIRST DAYS OF SCHOOL:
Morning Car line will begin at 7:25 and that will be when students enter the building. Late bell will ring at 7:55.
August 10: Students with the last names A-K will attend
August 11: Students with the last names L-Z will attend
August 12: Everyone back in the building
The more your child reads at school and at home, the better they become and the better their test scores become. Please see the attached information about how to build a stronger reading foundation for your child at home as we try to build our home to school connection with families. OES is a Title I school qualifying as a percentage of our students recieved free and reduced lunch meals. This allows our school to receive federal dollars. Along with federal, state and local funds, our school is able to operate and upgrade the instructinal teaching of our school.
THis year with our Federal Budget, we are able to fund 2 classroom teachers.
OES has achieved a rank of more than 40% free and reduced lunch status making us eligible to recieve funds.
So please take the time to fill out the free and reduced lunch form as your child's status could improve our funding!
Bullying Anonymous Reporting
You may read our board policy and/or fill out the Bullying Notification Form to submit a bullying notification to the Board of Education directly. Otherwise, report a bullying incident anonymously here. The appropriate administrators will be notified completely anonymously.
