Career Tech Program - Info and Applying

A.  Programs not featured in the video include:

1. Culinary-program begins with the fundamentals and principles of the art of cooking, management and production skills, and techniques. The courses offered involve a commercial laboratory-based instructional setting.

2. Early Childhood-This program is for students who are interested in pursuing careers with young children from birth to school age. Courses provide an overview of safe and healthy learning environments; children’s physical, intellectual, social, and emotional development; building productive relationships with families; managing an effective childcare program; professionalism; techniques for observing and recording children’s behavior; and principles of child development.

3. Fire Science-This program is for students who are interested in pursuing careers in emergency and fire management services. Courses provide an overview of careers in firefighting, emergency medical profession, and specialized public service jobs.

4. Ironwork Skills Institute-Ironworkers are the backbone of construction. Without Ironworkers, there would be no frame for your buildings.  After land is prepared, footers are poured, these professionals build the   eleton.

1. Applications are due January 15, 2021.

2. Students must respond to a follow up email after January 15, 2021 for their application to be considered.

3. Enrollment will be based on student’s application, attendance, and discipline.
